Even during the colder months, women appear to neglect their nails, and it is the most critical time to take care of your nails! The cold air, as you know, will dry your skin out. But make sure to put lotion on it. If you feel very ambitious, you can stand out from the crowd by making simple nail designs for the winter. It also provides you with an opportunity to play with darker and bolder colors.
Simple nail designs can be fun, ornate, and ostentatious for the colder months. A color scheme or theme, such as monochromatic blues or red and green for Christmas, is trendy to base your designs on. This photo reminds me of an ice queen who is spontaneous and adventurous. Not all ice queens are unhappy people who are planning to take the world over!
The question is: does a winter wonderland or a spider’s web represent these basic nail designs? How about the ocean’s bottom or a winter ball? The decision is up to you to make.
To attain this look:
O Paint black on your nails. You can also play with different color backgrounds to adjust the dominant color for these basic nail designs.
O Take the winter blue glitter nail polish and add it to your nails generously in spurts.
Take the dark green glitter and fill in the holes. Be sure to encourage your nails to show off some black nail polish.
O Make spider web-like movements on each of your nails using a white nail art brush. You may want to practice first on paper. You make many curving white lines. At least one other line connects to each line. Starting with one line in the idle of your nail is the safest way to do this. Then, from that one, stretch another line and so on. Only looking at the photo and copying what you see is the best way.
